| The "SP" Series is a round tapered or polygonal
tapered sports lighting pole offered in standard mounting heights from
50 to 120 feet. These standard poles accept a wide range of lighting
configurations, however if the standard sizes do not meet client
requirements, a pole can be custom designed to nonstandard
specifications.
Poles are designed to the minimum yield strength of the material with
an adequate factor of safety and will withstand the dead loads of the
structure as well as the wind loads required by AASHTO. In the
calculation of loads, drag factors and height correction factors are
applied to the entire structure.
Standard finishes include hot-dipped galvanization, prime coat and
finish coat, both available in powder or paint. For more information see
