| The pole shaft is fabricated from a weldable
grade of hot-rolled commercial quality carbon steel with a minimum yield
strength of 55,000 psi or 65,000 psi. The shaft has a round 16-sided
polygonal tapered cross section. For applications greater than 50 feet
multiple shaft sections are joined together with a minimum slip joint
equal to 1.5 times the female inside diameter. |

Reinforced
handholes with required hardware are provided at both the base of the
pole(6" x 10") and at the platform elevation (3" x
5").

| The base plate
is fabricated from structural quality weldable hot-rolled carbon steel
with a minimum yield strength of 50,000 psi. |

| The anchor bolts
are fabricated from hot-rolled carbon steel bars with a minimum yield
strength of 55,000 psi. The threaded end is galvanized a minimum of
12" and each bolt is furnished with two flat washers and two hex
nuts. |
