Direct embedded poles are provided with a bearing plate welded to the base of the pole. The plate has 3/16" minimum thickness.
A 1/2" diameter heavy hex nut is provided for the attachment of a ground wire to the pole.
A Steel pole cap is provided with a 3/8" X 11/2 " bolt, a 3/8" washer and a pole cap support plate welded to the inside of the pole, flush with the pole top.
